The first thing the client needs to understand is the overall result. If the report is unsatisfactory, say that plainly. If the inspection was limited, say what was excluded. If the installation is satisfactory, still explain the key notes so the handover does not feel rushed or careless.
A good handover means the client can re-open the report next week and still understand it. That is why the wording, the coding, and the schedule detail matter so much. If you expect a facilities manager, landlord, or homeowner to act on the report, the actions need to be obvious.
