What to Include on an EICR

A good EICR does more than raise codes. It tells the client what the issue is, where it is, how serious it is, and why it matters. That clarity makes remedial quoting much easier and reduces the back-and-forth after handover.

If the schedule of test results looks incomplete or mismatched, the whole report feels weak. The schedule should read like evidence for the conclusions, not like a separate document prepared by somebody else.

The final PDF should be ready to hand over, not something that still needs cleaning up at night. If it is unsatisfactory, the client should understand what needs doing first and what you can quote next.
